【Exhibition Introduction】
What kind of existence is "I"?
"I" is the intersection of multiple levels, the intersection of the head and the body, the intersection of the conscious and subconscious, the intersection of oneself and others, and the intersection of oneself and the world.
|Consciousness and subconsciousness
We are the intersection of consciousness and subconsciousness. When we have experiences and feelings, "I" can become independent, feel my own existence so deeply, and discover my own perspective on the world through experience.
If all works are an extension of the self, the creation of the "Inner City Series" is like me at the level of consciousness, painting the rooms and refuges in my heart, and also the presentation of the dream world. As for the "Flower of Life Series and Others", it seems that I am creating on a subconscious level without interfering with my body.
|Self and others
The uniqueness of "I" is most obvious when interacting and contrasting with others. When communicating and exchanging views with others, we reflect each other.
|Self and the world
The appearance of the world comes from fantasy, and the scale and influence of the inner world are far greater than the real world.
The intersection between "I" and the world is creation. On the road to living our own lives, we long to be close to our own reality, but when we come into contact with it, we try hard to escape from ourselves.
